'Sweet' was the first single from the album 'Emotional Feelings' written in 2002. The broken beat was put together by Bazil at our studio on the Devon/Somerset border (in the middle of nowhere!). The keys are played by the amazingly gifted Pete Jacobson (unfortunately it was his last recording session doing this album as he died of cancer very soon after :-( ). Marie Tweek did a beautiful vocal on this song, inspired by our dog Freddy who had epilepsy, and we loved him like he was our child! I remember every moment of this songs creation, and I mixed it down on my own with the most beautiful sunset ever out of the studio window (we lived on top of a huge hill) I remember having a tear in my eye...it's still one of my fave Rurals songs ever!'
