Love this LP. The whole thing sounds very clean and dead quiet. Bigger bands don't even try to make their records sound listenable. Thrice are one of not many modern rock bands whose albums always sound best on vinyl records.

Thrice has been one of my if not favorite bands since they released Illusion Of Safety. As far as this album goes, I wouldn’t expect anything less from them. They always continue to grow and experiment with music they actually want to enjoy for themselves. I thought Epitaph picking up this record would make it more old school Thrice but it definitely has all new feels to it. Like TBEITBN, this album will grow on you to become one of those must have’s. Thrice always has done such a great job with packing a great punch with their vinyl packages, although I am slightly disappointed in the presentation of this record. I was hoping for a 2xLP gatefold sleeve, booklet, artwork for their TENTH record. The Black/gray swirl is nice though! Plays well and sounds rich. The opening track “Only Us” automatically grabs you. As the tracks on this record were greatly placed , taking you on the usually powerful journey their records always travel.

Help me find a song a friend who introduced the band to me (he wanted a scream core band and i could play guitar) the lyrics were "mix the chemicals right" and it was on the "ballad" end of the spectrum.
