That should be the 2020 Covid-19 soundtrack. Welcome to the western civilisation decay.

What a journey this album is ! Detroit's spirit. True undeground ambient vibe. U listen to every track and feel the common with these amazin guys. UR, Drexcia, D. May, Jeff Mills, Urban Tribe - this is an uncompromised techno with the seed of pain inside. Pain that heals the hearts of us.

Some of the tracks on here are incredibly ahead of their time. 'Cultural Nimrod' and 'False Gods' sound like the kind of stuff that dubstep labels like DMZ and Tempa were putting out ten years later. Great album that has dated better than a lot of Mo Wax material.

You beat me to it about the dubstep styles on here; amazing and ahead of it's time; this album is excellent. I put it up with the best of UR and Carl Craigs work..Innerzone orchestra. A must have for those that know...

the best late 90´s album to me.

Criminally underrated - surprising given the list of contributors but perhaps explained by the lead roles of Ingram and Shake who remain two of the most overlooked Detroit producers out there, even with more exposure of late. There's some real nuanced depth and subtly devastating melancholy here. Worth checking the Japanese version for the stunning I.F.O. One of my favourites of all time.

a little something from Detroit. A small but breathtaking list of guests (Carl Craig, Shake, and Moodymann) pass through a few moments of ideas and hand in some nice contributions.
