Era

A Great compilation, we have seen this before and we have got to say it is one the best and rarest in the legendary black velvet series. As far as we know this was the last one to come out and so suffered from poor distribution as we now find it very difficult to source. As for the quality, well, no problems at all - it does play well and if you have a crap system then anything will sound crap.
This much is obvious.

Poor quality recording (sounds like they pressed it from a dodgey 128kbps mp3 found on a file-sharing network) and the copy I purchased new was so poorly pressed (the grooves were extremely shallow) that the needle skipped across the vinyl on the peter bouncer / ravedigger side. The other side plays but is a very poor quality audio recording, I will never buy another black velvet release. Has bkv 011 A2 scribed on the inner section for the a side, and bkv 011 B2 on the other.
