In general I dig the Private label’s unique approach to packaging, maybe a bit over the top with the vibrators and yo-yos, but hey at least they are doing something different.
This one sealed in a ‘bag for computer chips’ was a bit of a misfire IMO, the thing looked cool until I realized I need to cut one side off in order to play the records… this kind of ‘destructive’ packaging has worked only once (again IMO), for John Bender’s – “Plaster Falling” LP.
(btw I could have totally accepted this plastic bag if there was also a ‘real’ sleeve inside as well)

Regardless of my complaints about the packaging, this is still a great comp.
The presence of Carol Rich already made this an essential purchase for me, but there’s a lot more to discover here, thankfully in decent sound quality and volume.
