A massive kick in the nuts of everyone who claims everything that came out in 2010 is bland and digital only, this 2x10".

On the first slab, one finds Enduser in seriously moody mode, using deep laments, switching from half-tempo to carefully restrained tension with his usual brio and The Teknoist, using more laments, melancholic piano notes and very hard hitting drums... and even some cello during the break. Scratches, distortion, backspins, HARDCORE!
On the second plate, Scheme Boy twists Paranoid to the best effect: half-tempo into full-on hardbreak mayhem, backspins a beat or two to change rhythm and tempo and back again for a finale that includes dramatic synth stabs -- maybe Garbage have another opinion, but who cares? Finally, Broken Note delivers a really slamming piece that distributes an avalanche of massive slaps in the face.
To boot, the mastering and cut are simply marvelous, as seems usual on this label.

According to the sleeve, 10% of the sales profit are paid to sustainable development. What 10% of vinyl sales represent in the 2010s is a good question, but the intention adds to the charms of this monstrous release.
