Due to the nature of this release, and the way information is carried, conventional etiquette cannot be followed. Below is a list of the idiosyncrasies and the way they've been handled.

The software...

• doesn't actually contain any songs; it actually has "piano roll" format files that render into a playable format; in other words the "songs" are actually a collection of samples. The format [i]should[/i] be "File" but the way the data is accessed is via a GUI so, therefore, is a "CD-ROM"
• utilises a "song duration is determined by first sample block to last" affair. This has been retained.
• sorts tracks in alphabetical order so this "release" doesn't have Track No.s per-sé. The tracks have been numbered according to the aforementioned order.
• has a character length limitation on the "Author" (the equivalent of Discogs' "Artist") field. Some artist names are in initials and are, therefore, impossible to ascertain. These have been left out so not to create unlinkable artists.

One of my all time favorite PlayStation Games, precisely because it offered me a chance to compose your own music, while indeed allowing the music production to be of a technical level for a decent sound, and all of this in a software interface that's quite easy to handle.

Hence not without good reason that a small circle of dedicated fans still exists, having left its marks of what they produced thanks to this, to be found online but also on a few released media here and there.

Absolutely recommended, especially if you don't bother making music while using, instead of the well-known computer keyboard or synthesizer knobs, for a change, a PlayStation controller!

Regarding the music compilation that is default given to the game and listed here above. Well it's a fairly good release, covering a wide spectrum of electronic sounds:
From Ambient and Rock till Trance and Techno, even allowing some Big Beat, Drum 'n' Bass and Hip-Hop influences. Among which are to be found, some "Music 2000"-versions of some tracks by some well known UK electronic artists.
