I believe that 'Please Come To Boston' is an original recording by the original artist. However, it is an alternate take. Can someone comment on this?

I have over 900 CD's in my music collection, most are 60's, 70's & 80's rock music. I already have each of these songs individually or in a compulation. I was at Target and I stopped and listened to this at a music Kiosk along with a few others, but this one collection for some reason spoke to me more that the others. It is a collection of some of my favorite songs. I have many favorite songs and this collection has seven of my top 1,000 songs. That could be the reason that I purchased this collection. I rated it a 4 out of 5 because it has many very good songs, there are only two songs that if I was putting this collection together I would have left off. 15 songs out of 17, you can't beat that.
