An impressive collaborative project begun in the summer of 2008 between the music of Madrid, Spain’s Roberto Gutierrez [Verbum] and the vocals of Portland, Oregon’s Demian Rufus [struggle at the snuggle factory, Klaws Krossed, prdu]. Demian’s vocals set the entire 10 part prologue of an English translation of Nietzsche’s _Thus Spoke Zarathustra_ to Verbum’s orchestrations, arrangements, and masterful post-production mixing. One could possibly describe that it sounds like Neo-classical Spanish/Middle Eastern Industrial Dark-Wave in a neofolk-pop fusion with Nietzscheo-Amerikana Neo-Mafia-Rap ! and folks could possibly feel that the effects are passionate, intensive, moving, heavy, challenging, harmonically rich and melodically catchy. Perhaps Nietzsche would have admired this musical treatment, and so might his now humongous, politically / culturally diverse worldwide influence. [Comes in green Dvd case with 6 color inserts.
