I have a copy of this that isn't brown - just traditional black vinyl. Anybody know what this could be?

You have the original release from 1996. It’s very valuable. The plain recordings are considered shitty quality (because a lot of them are, and we were ripped from the CD!)

That's the 2009 release. All the original Plain releases are black and sound better
