Hard swinging quartet. Zoot´s albums belongs to the backbone of jazz. McKenna belonged to most underrated musicians. Last two tracks are kicking. Pressing is probably the best I have from MPO. Sound has two face. One of them is good mono forward pushing with warm tenor sax and big bass. Second - flat sound with band lost back ( track 2, 3, 5 ). But for that price, no comment.
