so how to get a decent copy from this release, when all sellers are only selling the MINT ones (you dont know if those are the fault pressings) ?

superb record, my favourite of 2019.a-side 'evidence of' is a killer, moody cut of forward, stepping deep tech house. big fan of the ~10 min runtime, plenty of time to mix in and out and layer it. b-side 'second light' is a beautiful sunrise-vibe slice of lush UKG with some great fat basslines that give the track a real sense of dynamism. the record is really well mastered and sounds beautiful. love the cover too - one of those records where the tracks sound like the way the cover looks - sleek, futuristic and colourful. big tip!

Please avoid buying brand new copies of the first pressing from sellers as it is faulty. ALL retailers were asked to discard them and were given good replacements so shouldn’t be trying to make an extra buck on faulty copies. We’d like to avoid bad copies circulating entirely, it’s unfair to everyone. There are plenty of good copies out there. Thanks

Hello folks, the entire first pressing had defects due to the hot setting used for the shrink wrapping machine which somehow melted the inner poly sleeve onto the A side, resulting in some residue that caused loud pops, etc. When the problem was discovered, all retailers that received those 1st copies were alerted immediately by Juno distribution and told NOT to sell anymore copies and wait for a new batch, which took just under a week to be replaced. If you bought a copy with this issue then please get in touch with the retailer/record store you purchased with and they should give you a brand new good copy, which they should have received. As for warping, all the records are slightly off center which causes the needle to waver a tiny bit but luckily it doesn’t affect the sound, it’s just one of those things that slipped. Not sure about records being actually warped physically but everything from the second batch should be good anyway. Thanks and apologies for any inconvenience !
