i didnt question that theo used the bassline of nancy martins "cant believe". im just saying that "rigid chains (dub mix)" uses the bassline and hithats in the sameway as theo does in dusty cabinets, and that both tracks almost sound identical (except some fx use on rigid chain).

just listen to the first few seconds of "can't believe" and i think that will be the answer to your question.

well, my point wasnt that he sampled parts of "dusty cabinets", but that it sounds more like he just reproduced a pitched up version of it. tell me if im wrong.
