Notes
SRC pressing. Label variant from The Velvet Underground - Live At Max's Kansas City; MONO printed on labels. 1841 Broadway address. This album was recorded in mono and can be played on any mono or stereo record player. Some copies come with brown 'The Atlantic Group' inner with Rockefeller address. Some copies also have the characteristic SRC 'EAST' emboss on the side 2 label, which is thought to have appeared first in 1974. The same George Piros plates were used for the Presswell pressing Live At Max's Kansas City. That issue has Rockefeller addresses. Both were likely pressed in early 1974 while the addressed paper parts were still changing over.On CD: ℗ 1972 Atlantic Recording Corporation On Back Cover: ℗ © 1972 Atlantic Recording Corporation for the United States and WEA International Inc. for the world outside of the United States. Made in Germany [Uncredited Info]: LP originally released 1972. A lo-fidelity mono-cassette recording made from the audience by Brigid Polk, a friend of the band, in Max's Kansas City, New York in summer 1970 that was given official, budget-price release by Atlantic.
