Along with Cafe Del Mar (Volume 1), this is one of the best chill out compilations ever. After these two volumes they never ever matched these stunning heights again in my opinion. This album opened up my brain to the endless possibilities of chill out music. Just listen to the Silent Poets opening track for sheer beautiful simplicity which transports you to a perfect, sunny & chilled nirvana. The closing track by Sabres of Paradise has to be one of the best closing tracks ever on an album or compilation - drammatically taking you as high as possible but in a chilled out state - perfection. Thank you Jose!

indeeed, first one (1st comp) is an outstanding choice of pure electronica, inventive and fresh. I still think that the third one is not that bad, especially "walking on air" "tones" "Asia"...among others. But sure after those three I think the quality decreased....

I agree totally.this one is simply PERFECT!Unfortunately two tracks are missing:Sunset by T.B.M.P. available on the cassette & LP.Eugina by Salt Tank only available on the cassette.
